However, if you're at home and you don't feel like getting out, why not try a great recipe for a sweet treat, in a mug? You can make several different, single sized treats, using some pretty simple ingredients, a mug, and your microwave. Today, we'd like to share some of our favorites with you.

Why not start with a classic chocolate chip cookie, in a mug:

1 tbs of butter
1 tbs of white sugar
1 tbs of brown sugar-you can use two tbs of white sugar if you don't have brown, or vice versa
3 drops of vanilla extract
1 small pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
¼ cup of all purpose flour-slightly less
2 overflowing tbs of semi sweet chocolate chips

Place the butter in the mug and melt in the microwave
Add sugar, vanilla extract and pinch of salt then stir
Add only the egg yolk to your cup, combine
Add flour and stir again
Put in the chocolate chips and stir again-this will look a lot like cookie dough at this point
Cook in the microwave for 40 to 60 seconds, check to see if it's done at around 40 seconds
Serve warm, perhaps with another mug of milk

If you're looking for something sweet, but with a bit less (or no) chocolate, then perhaps you might want to try a delicious Berry Cobbler in a mug instead.

¾ cup of strawberries (or any berry you prefer)
¼ cup of powdered or confectioners sugar
⅓ cup of flour
1 tbs of white sugar
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbs of butter
2 tbs of milk

Chop up the berries and place them in the mug
Add powdered sugar and stirIn a mixing bowl, place the flour, white sugar and baking powder
Mix these and add butter, mix
Add the milk and stir
Once that makes a dough, place it on top of the berries in the mug
Microwave for 1 ½ to 2 minutes
Remember that this will be very hot, allow time to cool and serve
